After a long trip to Mobile and we had out things packed away in our hotel room, we took off for Dauphin Island. Alabama Route 193 takes you right down to this intersting island in the Gulf of Mexico.
The island is quick to get whiped out during Hurricanes, so the place was half built, half destroyed when we got there. Lots of the interior houses were ok, but a large percentage of the houses were destroyed along the Islands narrow Western Strip.
This dirt was hard to get, as this island is largely sand and very populated, but I got it! Also, lots of mosquitos biting, even in mid November!
