Day two of our Central USA trip took us through Southern Mississippi. Instead of continuing West in Arkansas (Where we spent the night), we crossed into Tennessee again and eventually took a long trip down US 61 South to Lula, Mississippi.
Lula was a poor looking area, a small town that hugged the railroad tracks that ran though it. It's very close to the Mississippi River. This part of Mississippi was very flat, and US 61 has tons of Casino signs along it.
Shortly after crossing the railroad tracks I stopped by a planted field and got my dirt. Everyone that drove by waved at us and the dogs.
In Lula we hooked up with US 49 West and headed back into Arkansas and up to Interstate 40.
